Each week, for half the year each, both the Year 7 and Year 8 classes have a double period of cooking. This week the 7DBE created some smoked salmon fishcakes.


Most of the fishcakes were even eaten though there was some consumer resistance from the fish adverse. The goal in Year 7 cooking is to build confidence in the kitchen, create some palatable nutritious dishes and exercise teamwork.
