Year 9 Te Reo Māori spend a lesson learning some outside reo Activities.

Being an active learner is the best way to learn a language and the two Year 9 te reo Māori classes have been doing just that over the last few weeks. It has been a pleasure to see the effort and energy that the Year 9 classes have given to their language learning the last few weeks. Students have already created conversations and shown excellent progress. Currently we are focused on learning about atua Māori and getting outside to physically learn the language too. Whakatinana ngā kupu! Following that we will be delving in to the learnings of whakapapa and talking about heritage.

Well done to a great start to the year Te Tau 9! Karawhiua!
