As part of the Colleges' commitment to develop student leadership, Adam Byars and Nick Casey were added to the existing 2023 Prefect Team at a recent College assembly.
Two of McGlashan's finest young men were this week recognised for their continued and substantial contribution to the College. Adam, a farmer out of the gold-rush town of Waikaka in Southland has taken up the ominous (and pressured) task of organizing the Senior Formal, is vice-captain of Gilray House and a boarding clan leader.
Nick, deputy leader of Balmacewan House, a junior hockey coach and esteemed junior mentor, has enthusiastically accepted his role with both hands and looks forward to further contributions he can make to the culture of the College as a prefect.
