Year 10 Camp: Stewart Island

Thursday 26th November 2020

"The fishing and the hours of good chat time that we had were big highlights for everyone"

Stewart Island, a place below the South Island that I was lucky enough to travel to for Year 10 camp.

There are many contenders for the best thing that we did at camp but I think my favourite choice will be quite controversial according to my mates. In my opinion the Rakiura Tramp was the best thing that we did on Stewart Island, not for all the walking but for the feeling that I (and a lot of others) got when we saw that Four Square signifying the end of our walk.

The fishing and the hours of good chat time that we had were big highlights for everyone and I definitely recommend the camp for anyone.

Thanks have to go to Mr Gomez, Mr Boswell and Mr Price for all of the organising they did for the camp.
