University of Otago and Otago Polytechnic Open Days

Open Days this year will be 31 July and 1 August 2022 and there will be no classes at McGlashan on Monday 1 August to allow students to attend.

What happens at Tertiary Open Days?Our Open Days have academic presentations and activities, residential college tours, as well as lots of displays and activities from University clubs and services. It’s a showcase of what university life looks like at Otago.Which day should I come?The full programme happens on Monday 1 August 2022.Sunday 31 July has a limited programme, focusing on the most popular academic subjects. College and campus tours are available.People often find it is helpful to attend both days as there is so much on offer on Monday it is difficult to see it all. Sunday is a good day to do college tours and get a feel for the campus.

Otago Polytechnic

You'll find people available to show you around, answer your questions and give you a taste of life at OP.It's a full day of information session and activities including tours of Te Pā Tauira– our hall of residence.Tertiary Open Days is a two day event with the full programme of activity happening on Monday 1st August 2022.On Sunday 31st July we have a smaller programme but still have staff available to provide key information about our programmes.We can't wait to welcome you and your whānau onto our campus for our Tertiary Open Days, to experience what we have to offer.
