From the start of week 4 (Feb 20) the college espresso bar is getting going for the year. If you see the red flag then come on up to the window to get your espresso beverages.
This year both year 12 and year 13 Food students will be completing barista standards as part of their course. To do this we need customers. In taking a leading role in this venture the year 13 class decided we would be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8.10-8.35am and also during interval on the same days. The price for any coffee will be $4 and the expectation is that what is served will be of a professional quality; if it isn't please tell us!
Each class member, from both year 12 and 13, will be committing to numerous shifts in the espresso bar as part of their practical evidence gathering for assessment.
Students and staff can charge the cost of the espresso to their account and we will also have some change for cash sales.
We look forward to an invigorating espresso service ahead.
