This three day camp in Naseby is a mental and physical test of boys' mountain bike and outdoor skills.

All boys came away with a feeling of real achievement, physical limits being tested and riding skills being improved. The three biking groups rode most of the trying and technical trails in the Naseby Forest without a single trip to Ranfurly Medical Centre. This is testament to their control and awareness of safety in this rugged environment.

Here are a smattering of comments from the boys:

Tom Shallard – "I feel as though now I can do almost everything on a bike so much better, off road biking confidence grew dramatically. Best ride was below Hoffman’s Dam."

Fynn Duncan – “ Seeing Charlie Dougherty clear the water race was inspirational.”

Charlie Dougherty – "Great seeing Oli Bachop jump off a cliff drop, slam on his brakes and hit a tree."

Paddy Wennekes – "Highlight was watching the Batchelor – Naz’s reply!  Pretty happy with the time trial on the final morning."

Marcus Beagely – “ Enjoyed the tracks Mr Cuthbert took us on especially the jump tracks."

Tom Elliot – "Every ride was great , and I enjoyed the Batchelor."
