Blood donations

At assembly, we proudly recognised these boys for their contributions to the community by donating blood. New Zealand requires 4,000 blood donations and 2,600 plasma donations each week, but the need is immense, with only 110,000 donors, less than 3% of the population. Every 15 minutes, someone in NZ needs blood products. At McGlashan, we take a van load of boys every term to contribute. If you're interested in joining, please see Charlie.
