A big week ahead as our Athletics Sports day looms. We also have "Meet the Teacher Evening" and lots more besides. Please keep an eye on the calendar.
- Fortnightly Reports: By now you should have recieved the first report of the year for you son. These will be sent fortnightly and record a simple 1-5 grade for both "Learning" & "Behaviour". These are intended merely as a touch-base indication of where things are at currently, and provide an early warning system should things be trending downwards. Staff are encouraged to view a grade of 3 (Expected Level) as the default and move up or down based on specific observations from that fortnight. If you have concerns over grades in your son's report, please contact the Form Teacher in the first instance.
- Homestay: One of our students, a sixteen-year old Kiwi/Italian, Arthur Accorsi, urgently needs a home for the next few months while his parents are working in Italy. He is bilingual English/Italian and also speaks good French. Arthur is a keen golfer, so a family of golfers would be ideal. He is a quiet and gentle young man, and loves animals, so a home with pets would be fine.
